Northern Thunder Tryouts
The 2008 Northern Thunder U15s trials are being held at Penistone Reserve on Sunday 20 th and 27 th July. All U15 and U13 players from Wembley and Wanneroo Lacrosse Clubs are encouraged to try out for the team.The Championships are being held in Perth from 28 September – 4 October. The 2007 team won the championship undefeated and I am very keen for this year's team to go back-to-back.
Players are to be at the ground and geared up and ready to go at 9:30am . The team will be chosen by taking into account performance at both trials as well as previous game play. Please bring a waterbottle and a reversible training top.

Australian Team Representatives

The club's warmest congratulations to Blair Coggan, Simon Fleet and also former Wanneroo Player Steve Stojkos, on their selection for the Australian team to play in the ILF U-19 World Lacrosse Championships in Vancouver this July. The selection process was long and arduous, but no doubt worth the commitment, as they join a select few Wanneroo players who have represented their country. Additional congratulations to Simon who has recently been announced as the team captain.
